Prayer for our Troops
Father,
We come to You in Jesus' name on behalf of our military men and women. We thank You, Father, that in Your name they find strength, comfort, courage, refuge, and shelter.
We pray, Father, that You would cover them and answer them with the saving strength of Your mighty right hand. We thank You for being their ever present help in time of need and for answering them in a time of trouble.
Father, we thank you for giving Your angels charge over them, who guard them concerning all their ways. And, we thank You for having their names written in the very palm of Your hand.
Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers them and we apply it to each one of their lives and thank You that it will shield them from the enemy. We give You praise, Father, because You are their source and their defense
Father, we ask for divine wisdom for the military leaders. Holy Spirit, lead and guide them in every decision, every strategy, and tactic that would be used against our enemies. Fulfill Your plan and purpose in them.
Father, we pray for their families and loved ones and ask that You would give them peace that passes all understanding. Help them to know that You are watching over them, and put people in their lives that will encourage and uplift them.
Father, we thank You that even though there are battles being fought, the war has already been won. Father, we ask for peace in the Middle East, that Your Will would be done in that nation. And, we pray, Father, that you would bring our troops home safely and bring comfort to those who are not with them.
We give You praise, honor, and glory that You are worthy to receive! And we thank You for the victory!
