The DCFI Intercessory Prayer Team (IPT) is a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led group of dedicated people who have been called to "stand in the gap" in prayer on behalf of those who are in need of prayer. The IPT meets on a regular basis to pray for the needs of the church as well as pray for all online prayer requests and word-of-mouth prayer requests.
The IPT is not a replacement for each person's responsibility to pray. However, it is an intermediary, going before the throne of God on behalf of others.
Mission statement:
The mission of the DCFI Intercessory Prayer Team is to pray for every request that is received until the prayer is answered, and to educate believers in their ability to pray for themselves and others. |
