The GLBT community has long
been the victim of condemnation and discrimination by mainstream
churches, who are the main reason many gays and lesbians turn
away from God. Contrary to popular religious teaching, gays and
lesbians do have a place in God's will and
purpose.
We are
ALL one in Christ Jesus.
DCFI is committed to reaching out to the gay community to prove
God's unconditional and unfailing love toward ALL people. We
believe: that sexual orientation is irrelevant to salvation and
worshipping God in spirit and in truth; that Jesus shed His
blood once and for ALL; and that you can be gay and Christian
too.
More
than affirming.
God's word says that "where the Spirit of the Lord is there is
liberty" and that "there now is therefore no condemnation for
those who are in Christ Jesus."
DCFI has many Spirit-filled gay men and women operating in the
love and power of God, and fulfilling His divine purpose in
their lives, without compromising their sexual orientation. Gay
men and women are actively leading and equipping other saints
for the work of service that God has called us to do.

Y Celebration
Each year DCFI reaches out to the GLBT community at the
annual Diversity Celebration, or Pride Picnic. This is an awesome
opportunity to reach people who won't step foot in church because of being
burned or condemned by religion.
